Born Of Osiris - The Discovery [2011]

Born of Osiris is an American deathcore band from Palatine, Illinois. Formed in 2003, the group has undergone a number of name changes including Your Heart Engraved, Diminished, and Rosecrance before finally settling with Born of Osiris in 2007, basing the name off the Egyptian deity Osiris, and the tale of his son Horus. The group is signed to Sumerian Records and has released two full lengths and one EP on the label. Their album, A Higher Place, reached number 73 on the Billboard 200.

The Discovery is the second full-length album by American progressive deathcore band, Born of Osiris. It was released through Sumerian Records on March 22, 2011. It is also the first album by the band to use seven string guitars.

On the day of release the band announced a live music video for the song "Recreate".
